During the 1980's I was introduced to Leo Dickinson, a very well established documentary filmmaker. He is an adventure cameraman whose notable feats include hot air ballooning over Everest, climbing the Eiger (Switzerland) and filming stunning shots while freefall parachuting with peregrine falcons.
My first film with Leo was Wakulla Springs for Channel 4. It was a documentary about cave diving the deepest caves in the world: my first foray into under water music! It was syndicated around the world.
This was followed by Anything is Possible for the Discovery Channel which was 3 half hour films featuring all the insane things Leo has got up to!
Web of Steel was a very successful film for America commissioned by ABC/Kane. This was the first time I had ventured into music for spiders!
Crown of the Continent, an hour-long wildlife documentary for Partridge Films UK, about bears in Northern Montana, USA was again a global success. The sound track I composed for this included a full orchestra.
I have also been commissioned for countless corporate/training films — including Caterpillar (Switzerland), the Body Shop (Anita Roddick), and many films for Inner City Development Projects.
